Hello, Ginners! There has been some rumours flying around the gin tables about myself. Yes I have been dealing with some health issues and still am, but rest assured, I am working on getting better. I am kicking butt and getting better!! So what I would like to see is everyone coming to play, having fun and not worrying about me so much ;) My main goal here at Ginners is to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves and not worrying about lil me ;)
I would like to welcome our new & returning members to our league! Enjoy our family fun games, if there are any questions please do not hesitate to approach our very helpful staff - introducing our new Seargeant-of-arms, Kimmy - so if you need her, she is just a message away! Furthermore, I would like to remind everyone of our new rule that can be found below and on our MyLeague's main page.
We have a couple of contests this month - Ginners Masquerade & Halloween Bash - further details can be found below. Don't miss them!

Ginners Masquerade
~~October 28th at 8:00pm~~
Chw78ark will be hosting the Ginners Masquerade Ball! This is an INVITATION ONLY tourney. You will need to register early by sending your "costumed name" to Chwy by 12pm on the 28th. She will then send you an invitation to join the tourney.

Ginners' New Rule
The staff at Ginners~R~Us wishes to provide a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere for our members to relax and enjoy some competitive entertainment. It is the policy of this league that no member may engage in any confrontation at a game table or in lobby with another member or non-member at any time when tourneys are being played, whether the member is actively engaged in the tournament or not. Should any member engage in this type of behavior, they will be asked to cease the confrontation by the tournament host and/or league admin. Refusal to comply with this request is grounds for a 3-day suspension and subsequent offenses are grounds for additional suspension and/or expulsion from the league at the administrators' discretion. Additionally, disrespect to any league staff will also be subject to the disciplinary actions described above. The staff are all volunteers and put a great deal of time and effort and for some, at considerable personal expense, to provide tournaments for you, the members. Any abuse of the staff will not be tolerated.
Purging
Just a reminder ...We understand that the summer months can be busy. But, you must play once every 45 days or you will get purged. If you get purged you will lose all of your bux, and your stats. We just want to make sure everyone is aware that you do need to play at least once every 45 days to keep your Ginners' account active.

Laddering
Ever wonder what laddering is and how you should do it? It's really very simple ...you just ask another Ginner to play you outside of a tournament. How do you do this?
1. Go to one of our 2 rooms-- Fast Play Only or Tidy Bowl.
2. Ask if any Ginner would like to ladder.
Example: "Hey Ginners! Anyone wanna ladder before next tourney?"3. Decide on a game, then set the table and play to 100.
4. Once the match is over, the LOSER should report the loss.
5. The loser should go to the Ginners main page, scroll just past the calendar, and find the "Report Loss" box. Fill in your name and password and your opponent's name. Then click on the "Submit Loss" button.
Remember you will need to know your opponent's exact league name which should be the same as his/her Pogo name.
If you have any questions or problems about reporting a match or if a match was reported...contact Mosie.
Donations
We try and offer several Special Tourneys and/or Monthly Contests here at Ginners.We often gift extra LadderBux and sometimes other prizes. If you would like to help...let Mosie know. Whether it's a few LadderBux or something else...it will be appreciated!!

Know somebody that loves Gin? Refer a friend to Ginners and earn some buxx!! If you have a friend who joins Ginners, just send an email to Tuffy46 with your friend's name. Once your friend joins and plays in a tourney, Tuffy will send you 100 buxx!Also if you are ever short of buxx ... let Tuffy know and she'll get you some more so you can continue playing all the gin you want!

Please respect your fellow roomies. Greeting your opponent and wishing him/her good luck - ("GM," "Hi," "GL,")or congratulating a nice hand ("VN," "GH")
or the win ("GG ...GLNR")
is such a pleasure to see and hear. Let's just be kind!
Oh ... and the TDs sure like to be thanked too ... it really does make them smile even bigger! And they might even set another tour at that weird early hour in the morning!
